Super Oatmeal PB Cookies

Always good to have a quick dessert in your back up plan.  And this is spot on!
Found this easy tip from Food Network and then I upgraded it for flavor and satisfaction.
This is cheap, semi-homemade, and full of healthy goodness!
The recipe upgrade reduces the 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter used from the package mix to 1/4 cup (1/2 stick); thus, reducing the fat content by adding 1/2 cup of applesauce in its place.

In order to make this a better cookie just follow my suggestions below.

Super Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

1/4 cup butter, softened

Upgrade:
--1/2 cup of applesauce
--add 1/3 cup ground flax seeds
--add 1/3 cup chocolate chips extra
--add 1/3 cup dried cherries
--add 1/3 cup sliced almonds
